When a friend gave me my first pair of lavender Tieks I was SO EXCITED! These shoes are so cute and versatile and I have been wanting a pair ever since I started working up in New York (sorry but walking 15 minutes to work in heels is just NOT my thing). These shoes are just so luxurious, even the packaging is so fancy! I love the color and I just had to a look and mani inspired by the beauty of these shoes (I love shoes)! I swear inspiration can come from ANYWHERE and ANYTHING!
Tieks are known for their teal-ish bottoms and ability to fold up so they can fit in your purse. They come with a little bag so you can fit the pair in and throw it in your purse. In this little bag, there is also another bag inside that stretches out to a tote bag to put your heels in! So very cute and practical! These shoes come in so many colors and I want to get every single one now! I especially want to get more if I go back to New York for work!
These awesome shoes gave me some inspiration for some beauty looks!
For this look I wanted to use Urban Decay Clash Eye Shadow Pencil to make my look pop (just like the soles of the shoes!). I use Clash ALL THE TIME when I want to make a more interesting look. I used it a coupe days ago here! I also busted out my Lancome Color Design Mademoiselle Chic palette. This palette comes with various purple and pink shades, Rose Mauve, Violetta, Camisole, and Indigo. I used Rose Mauve and Camisole on my lid, Indigo on my crease, and Violetta on m bottom lash line. I then added Clash on my top lash line.
I always get so excited when I get to do nail art! I am really excited about this one because I used different textures just like my new Tieks! I used 2 layers of Essie Play Date. I then used tape to make a fun design on my accent nail. I put 1 coat of Cult Nails Riot followed by a coat of Cult Nails Wax That. The finished look matches my shoes with the lavender nails being shiny and the teal-ish part being wax-y/matte finish!
Where do you get beauty inspiration from?!
