I was super excited to find out that Eleven Madison Park was named Best Restaurant in the World AFTER I made reservations for it!! The tasting menu is $295. You pre pay when you make your reservations (a month ahead) and tip and tax is included. I made this NYC trip specifically to go to this restaurant!
Soft Cocktail at Eleven Madison Park
I got a “soft cocktail” since I don’t drink alcohol but wanted a fun drink! This was a cucumber lime one that was very good! It was $10 and that included tax and tip. I would pass on this next time! It was good but I’d rather spend $10 on more food!

This was very tasty and had lots of unique textures and flavors!

LITTLE NECK CLAM CLAMBAKE WITH VELOUTE AND PARKER HOUSE ROLLS
The presentation was super cute! There is a clam chowder broth in the pot that you pour that was super clam-y which I loved! On sides are some rolls and clams with different toppings. This course was delicious but I wish there were more clams!

PRAWN ROULADE WITH AVOCADO AND YOGURT
This was a picture perfect plate!! SO BEAUTIFUL! The prawn in the middle was cooked perfectly.

FOIE GRAS TORCHON WITH MAPLE SYRUP AND PAIN DEPICE
MMMM. This was so rich and also came with a roll with a dried apple on top. In the middle of this there is maple syrup that flows out. This was good but I think the portion was too much!

CARROT TARTARE WITH RYE TOAST AND CONDIMENTS
Such a fun presentation! They make the carrot tartar right at the table. It comes with lots of toppings that you can add as you like. I added everything! The dish was good but this would have been BETTER with beef or tuna! They specifically used carrots to be different but I just LOVE real tartars!

TURBOT POACHED ZUCCHINI AND SQUASH BLOSSOM
Another picture perfect plate!! This was very light and oh so delicious!

WINTER IN PROVENCE BLACK TRUFFLE, CELERY ROOT, POTATO AND CHEVRE FRAIS
This was another dish they plated at the table! SO GOOD. I wish there was a crispy element but that didn’t stop me from almost licking the plate.

SUCKLING PIG CONFIT WITH RHUBARB, LEEK, AND CIPOLLINI ONION
GREAT! Loved this so much. It tasted as good as it looks!

OMG! That truffle just makes this dish!! Everything on this plate was amazing.

This was sooooo neat! The textures and flavors were just perfect! So interesting and delicious!

If you are a chocolate lover, you will love this! I like lighter desserts. I couldn’t even finish this, I was so full!!

Granola To Go
After your meal they give you a jar of their granola to go! This granola is AMAZING!!!
I had a wonderful meal but to be honest I was a little underwhelmed. My friend who I went with had been here before and described all the courses as not only delicious but exciting and unique! I also went to Jungsik the night before and LOVED that meal so I kept comparing things. I want to come back when they reopen with a new menu to really experience it again! This menu was a tribute to courses that were important to them at some point. Everything was good but I just wanted more!!
