I was searching around for a “fancy” green bean recipe and saw a picture of bacon wrapped green beans. All the recipes though involved maple syrup and I am not a fan of sweet veggies. I decided to alter it and make a savory edition!
These were soo good and soo cute! I will definitely be making these again!
(I’m trying to get better at my picture taking skills on my DSLR, I like how this one turned out!)
Bacon (I used the regular cut)
1lb-ish Fresh Green Beans
Seasonings of your choice
1- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2- Grab about 10 green beans and wrap with bacon. When you are wrapping the bacon try to spread out the bacon so it doesn’t over lap that much. The ends of bacon should be on the bottom side.
3- Place all of them side by side in a casserole dish (try not to have them touch, but its okay if they do). Add any seasonings you like. I added salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.
4- Cover them with foil, and throw them in the oven for 30 minutes.
5- After 30 minutes take the foil off and turn the boiler on. When the bacon is to your crispiness, you are done! Be very careful since they can burn quickly under the broiler!
(Don’t judge me on this blurry “final” picture. I was in a rush since we were all HUNGRY!)
