I wanted to share two Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics nail polishes that I picked up at IMATS. If you haven’t heard of Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics, you need to now! They have tons and tons of pretty nail polishes as well as other cosmetic items. I actually just ordered the whole collection when it was on Groupon so watch out for a future giveaway (woohoo free stuff)!
First up, CABANA BOY. This is the prettiest purple-ish blue-ish polish ever! Pictured below is two coats with no top coat. It dries with a pretty finish and does not go on streaky! It was really easy to put on, not to thick and not to runny. GREAT color for Spring and it goes well with my royal blue Longchamp purse so I am loving it 🙂
Next I sponged my tops with CRUSHED CANDY from the Gumdrop collection. I thought it would be an interest contrast with the textures. It didn’t turn out bad at all! The textured polish worked the same on the sponge as a regular polish does. The color in the picture below of CRUSHED CANDY is a little off, it is more of a light purple in real life (see last picture). Also, the name of this polish reminds me of my FAVORITE Facebook game, Candy Crush! Who is addicted? Don’t lie, I know YOU are!
Then I had to try CRUSHED CANDY (I keep wanting to type CANDY CRUSH, I need help!) all over my nail. This stuff is AMAZING! I LOVE IT! I love this for many reasons:
1- SUPER fast drying time.
2- This looks good even if you suck at painting nails, no streaks EVER.
3- It stays put! You know how glitter polishes usually stay on longer? Well this polish is basically a bottle of liquid glittery goodness! This stuff stays on pretty darn good.
4- Eventually when you do get a chip, fixing it is fast and not noticeable! Usually when you fix a chip with regular polish, it always looks a little bumpy, with this stuff, you can’t even tell.
5- This polish is so inexpensive! I purchased this as IMATS for around $3 bucks (it was 3 or $10 actually).
Have you tried any nail polishes from the Gumdrop collection? Which one is your favorite?!
DISCLAIMER: I purchased this myself.
