The Tattoo Liner is really easy to use for a winged look. The tip is a stiff brush so you can get very detailed. I find that flimsy liquid eyeliner brushes are really hard to work with. I am not a pro with them and when I try to do a winged eye line, it always gets messy, real messy. This one is perfect because its a little flimsy to give you room to move and its a little stiff to give you precision when you need it. Its also really easy to line the top lash line with it too. I like to put the point of the liner on my inner corner and lay the liner down on top of my lash line, then slowly sweep to the outer corner. I use this almost EVERY DAY. With a little practice this eye liner makes winged looks in minutes!
From Sephora’s website:
“Achieve dramatic eyes and create temporary tattoos with this water-resistant must-have that brings out the artist in you. The innovative brush tip makes it easy to make your personal vision a reality.”
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner holds up to the claim that it is water resistance. I would even say its ALMOST sweat resistance as well. I’m always worried a winged eye liner will be a big blob by the end of the day since my skin is oily, with this the point is still perfect at the end of a hot day. At the end of the day my waterline will be faded and any other makeup might be smudged or moved around but my wing is still there. For $18, this is a must have that is worth its price!
