I cam across the brand Bio Seaweed Gel when I attended IBS (International Beauty Show, not the other thing you were thinking about!) last year n NYC. I was intrigued at first because they told me you could cure this gel polish in the sunlight and you only need this one bottle for a gel mani! No need for a base coat or a top coat. I’m a little upset because every time I have time to do my nails, the sun is not out! I have not tried it in the sun but I’m sure when it gets warmer, I will be trying lots of sun manis!
Above is the color Coral Reef in artificial lighting. I am in LOVE with this color. With one coat this color is a little sheer, it builds up to an opaque shade with 2 or 3 layers. I used 3 coats for the mani’s pictured. The texture of the polish is actually pretty thin compared to other gel polishes I have tried. Sometimes when I have 3-4 coats of gel polish from other brands my nails feel and sometimes look thick, not this though! These pictures do not show the glittery-ness of this color. It is so gorgeous! I used a LED lamp to cure each layer for 30 seconds. Another cool thing about this gel polish is that you do NOT have to clean each nail with a gel cleanser (like other gel polishes). I cured it for an extra 30 seconds and made sure I didn’t touch it for 1-2 minutes. The end result is a nice shiny mani!
Each bottle costs around $18 and is well worth it! This is great for anyone who wants a quick, easy, and long lasting gel mani! LOVE!
Have you tried this brand before?!
