Ever since I tried some juice cleanses while I was living in New York, I have been obsessed with making my own! The boyfriend and his kids love it too! Today I will be showing you my go to recipe for green juice. These are my usual ingredients but it always varies to what I happen to have in the fridge at the time.
Veggies and Fruits
1 Bunch of Kale
1 Whole Cucumber
3 Stalks of Celery
1 Pound of Carrots
This will make about 4 cups of green juice.
I use a Hurom HU-100 Slow Juicer which I love and use almost daily! Even though the Hurom gets a lot of juice like, there is still some pulp that gets into the juice. I like a really smooth green juice with no pulp so I go the extra step and I strain it when I pour it into a pitcher. It goes down much easier and makes it so yummy! If you don’t mind chewing a little while drinking it, feel free to skip the straining part!
