Balanced Guru Antioxidant Masque is a fun unique DIY mask! Balanced Guru describes this product: “Colorful berries are a great way to feed your skin with antioxidants. Clove and cinnamon are also loaded with antioxidants to help fight free radicals. In case that wasn‰۪t enough, vitamin C will give this masque an extra boost to also help brighten your complexion.” The essential ingredients in this masque are Acai and Acerola berries, Clove, Cinnamon, Oatmeal, and Vitamin C.
When you first get this and open it, you will just see a dry powder mix. You can see different ingredients all mixed in. The fun part is that you can mix it with basically any liquid to create your own mask for any skin concern you want to address. Balanced Guru recommends mixing it with a toner, yogurt, or honey for different masks but there are still tons of other options out there!
I have also been thinking of other things to mix with the mask for different concerns such as aloe (for soothing), eggs (for skin tightening), Milk of Magnesia (to help reduce oiliness), smashed avocados (to help prevent dry skin), water and lemon juice (to help tighten pores and brighten skin), and smashed bananas (helps exfoliates).
The first time I used this I mixed it with Dickinson Witch Hazel. I love Witch Hazel for helping with blemishes and oiliness. I added a couple of drops the dry mixture until it turned into a texture I could put on my face. This one did tingle a little bit when I put it on! I left it one for about 15 minutes and then rinsed my face off. Instantly my face was so soft! I like to use this a couple of times during the week to get my face refreshed and soft!
