I received a bunch of fun new Color Club colors so I wanted to play with them! I haven’t done any sort of nail art in forever. I wanted to do something simple with one my favorite nail art techniques, sponging! I decided to pick a pinky purple theme. It was really hard what colors I wanted to use first since there are so many fun shades! I am also a fan of their scented ones! It may sound gimmicky but it reminds me of when I first started using nail polish when I was younger! Most of the scented ones actually smell REALLY good too!
For this nail art, I used 2 coats Feathered Hair Out to There as my base. The color was very opaque and had no streaks with 2 coats. I then sponged Midnight Mulberry with a makeup sponge. I kept the color near my cuticle. Then I sponged New-Tral on top of that and the middle of my nail. I really love how opaque these polishes are. I was surprised New-Tral showed up so well!
Colors above left to right:
Feathered Hair Out to There– This is part of the Poptastic Pastel Neon collection.
New-Tral– This is part of the Shift into Neutral collection.
Midnight Mulberry– This is part of the Shift into Neutral collection.
These all retail for $8.50 on their website.
A fun nail design always make me happy! Are you as excited for Spring as I am?!
