The new Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil ($32) are in! I was sent two of them to play with and I am pretty impressed with the application. The two colors I have are Warm and Dark Brunette.
These come in 9 shades and there are:
Platinum Blonde– lightest cool blonde/platinum
Blonde– light to medium neutral blonde
Warm Blonde– dark blonde/ strawberry blonde
Auburn– medium to deep red tones
Soft Brunette– light to medium cool brown
Warm Brunette– warm medium brown
Dark Brunette– deep brown with warm undertones
Ash– gray/ dark brown with cool undertones
Natural Black– darkest brown to black
This is a mechanical brow pencil but its a little bit different the everyday one. The tip on this is a triangular shape. The texture of this is a combination of powder, pencil, and wax. I like the shape of the pencil because I can use it to define but then I can also use it on the side to fill my brows. The other end also comes with a brush to help tame the brows. I really also like how theres a cap on BOTH ends! I hate have exposed brushes so this is great.
Since I have almost black hair, I like the dark brunette. You can see above that there is a slight difference between the Dark and Warm brunette.
Now for the before and after! You can see my sparse thin crazy eye brows. I definitively need to fill in my eye brows because you can barely see them and they are a little bit cray! With the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil I can quickly fill them in and I am ready to go! Well not 100% ready I still need to do my other makeup, but you get the idea!
Since I travel for work a lot, I am just thinking, “WOO! I only need to bring one product for eyebrows in my bag!”. Do you think you will be trying out one of these? Do you already have it? What do you think? Let me know!
