At GenBeauty this past weekend I learned that bliss is now carrying makeup items as well as their well know skincare and spa items!! The items in the makeup line were created with skincare in mind first so that’s always a PLUS. I was so excited to hear this! While waiting in line at their booth they showed us un-buffing believable. It was kind of a tease actually. They were demoing it but did not have it for sale. I was SUPER excited when I saw it came in the swag bag we got at the cocktail party the night before!
This product is suppose to controls excess oil and set makeup in place for a matte pretty finish. With light reflecting technology, it says it will diffuse the look of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. This is also suppose to be better than traditional powder because it will not look cakey.
Un-buffing believable retails for $35 and contains .5 oz of product. You can use this product under or over your makeup to create a smooth canvas for makeup or to get rid of any unwanted shine. The secret is to tap the product on and not rub. It comes with a very small sponge and a brush. I was very surprised to see that the brush is VERY soft. Usually brushes that come with products don’t seem to be the best quality but this brush is very soft and very nice. I have tried this product under and on top of my makeup. I have to say it does work but I like to use it under my makeup better. It does create a very smooth canvas for my makeup and helps to minimize my huge pores. I can still see my pores but it does help a little. If I use this on top of my makeup when I start to get a little oily it works great. HOWEVER if I get TOO oily and use it, it gives my face a matte look but my face is still oily and if I touch the spot where I put the product on, it comes off with my makeup. Then again, I am SUPER oily so this may be a problem only I encounter. Regardless, I still really enjoy this and am really excited to try the other items in their makeup line!
