The above pictured is what you will get with the Luminess Air AirSupremacy 6 Piece Started Kit. The one I got was in Fair. It comes with a primer spray, 2 foundation shades to find your perfect match, a blush spray, a sealant spray, and 2 brushes. During it’s launch tomorrow you can get this set for a premier price of $49!! The retail value is $175. They also offer other products such as tattoo and blemish coverage, blushes, body shimmers, and other spray-able beauty products! The foundation is buildable, will minimize fine lines and wrinkles, paraben fragrance, and oil free, never tested on animals, and ideal for sensitive skin.
Out of this set Shade 3 was a pretty good match for me. The first thing I did was use the face primer and sprayed it all over my face. I then took the foundation in shade 3 and did some single sprays on areas where I wanted FULL and more coverage. I then went back and sprayed in circular motions all over my face. After that I go an spray a little of the blush. After that, I use the sealant spray and called it a day!
The foundation does not completely dry to a matte finish (which is what I prefer) so I go over it with a setting powder for that extra matte-ness which I need. I do have to say that this foundation kept my oils away for most of the day! It lasted for 12 hours with me blotting and/or using blotting powder which is totally normal for me! I was actually really impressed by it. The one thing I did not like as much was the hiding of pores. It did minimize them but when I used another primer underneath before the foundation application I could of REALLY hid them. I also tried this using traditional concealer before the foundation application too which really looked great!
To be honest, I did not use the brushes that came with the set. If you do not want to spray the foundation directly on your face you can spray it on the brush and then apply it on your face that way. I prefer the bottle because I do not think it gives the same finish when applied with a brush vs spraying directly on your skin.
The Below are my before and after pictures. I also tried this set on a bad face day where I had pimples and really dark spots. It did cover them but not as good as traditional concealer would, which is why I need to try the Hide Out spray they have for more coverage!
I think this is a fun and great product for people who want to try airbrush foundation! Its portable and super easy to learn. I just recommend trying it a few different way before you give up on it!
What do you think of the Luminess Air AirSupremacy, would you purchase? How do you feel about airbrush makeup?!
