I received the Glo Full Bloom Collection to try out awhile ago but I just recently had a chance to play with this set. Keep on scrolling to see what it comes with, swatches, and my FOTD using the whole collection!
About Glo Full Bloom Collection
The Glo Full Bloom Collection retails for $58 on their website. The collection comes with:
Cream Stay Shadow Stick in Keepsake (light vintage bronze)
Cream Blush in Fig (warm mid-toned peach)
Gloss in Pueblo (fresh nude)
Full Bloom Eye Shadow Quad: Harvest (light mocha frost), Suede (matte soft beige), Mahogany (deep matte warm brown), Dusk (metallic pewter)
Swatches of all the products on my hand can be seen below. The eye shadows were swiped with my finger 2- 3 times to achieve the color on my hand. I had no primer on my hand.
My Quick Review
I liked the products in the Glo Full Bloom Collection. All the colors go together perfectly for a soft earthy look. Perfect for everyday. The eye shadows were very smooth and easily blend-able. I love the mix of shimmers and mattes. The shimmer shadow was very vibrant and I could layer it on top of a matte without ruining its original color. The gloss has a nice opaque-ness to it which I really like. I haven’t worn colored gloss in forever but I may start wearing it more to mix it up! I really LOVE the color of the gloss! The shadow stick is something I like to use almost daily now. I love using it as an eyeliner. It has a soft line and color so I use it when I have a “no makeup” makeup kind of day. The staying power is great and doesn’t budge which is a PLUS! The cream blush is super super soft. I wasn’t expecting it to go on so easily. I usually stay away from cream blushes because they usually take off my foundation when I apply them because they are so thick or just make me extra oily. This one did not take off my foundation when I put it on, it was just so thin and smooth.
Is It Worth It?!
Do I think the Glo Full Bloom Collection is worth the $58 price tag? Depends. Honestly for me, I would never buy a collection like this. I like to buy and pick individual items. For instance, even though I like the lip gloss, I would never buy it, I already have so many similar ones. Same with the blush. The cream blush is nice but I would never go out and buy this one. I do think this is a great deal for people who don’t have a plethora of makeup items already or even as a gift! The price equals out to around $14.50 per item, which is less than what other brands are charging for a eye shadow palette, a lip gloss, a shadow stick, and a blush individually. I also think this would be worth it as a gift since it has pretty neutral shades that everyone would wear and it already in a cute box!
Have you or will you be picking up this colletion?!
