I splurged on myself and finally purchased The Orignal Scrapbox’s The Workbox 3.0! I have seen this on tons of crafting sites and Facebook groups. I do love crafting, however, I wanted this baby for my makeup organizer!!
About The Orignal Scrapbox’s The Workbox 3.0
This amazing fold-able cabinet system retails for a hefty price of $1,645 plus shipping which is more than $450! I purchased it on Black Friday and got the crown light (retails around $300) extension plus 3 other small add ons for free. This comes in a huge box with multiple smaller boxes in it that are labeled. This also comes with 79 clear totes, 13 clear velcro pouches, 3 wood drawers, 7 shelves with acrylic guards, 2 optional metal rods, 6 large hooks, 3 storage pockets, 12 caster wheels to allow unit to glide across (most*) flooring, and a fold out table.
My boyfriend was so nice to assemble the whole thing for me! He did it in a couple of hours and he also added additional screws to make it extra sturdy. I also love how this is so customize-able! They show you their suggest shelf layout but you can re arrange them as you need. The most fun part was organizing everything to my liking!
Before Using The Workbox 3.0 As A Makeup Organizer
So, I am a slob. Haha. This was my makeup area BEFORE using The Workbox 3.0 as my makeup organizer! As you can see, a lot of things are hidden in these ikea drawers. Out of sight out of mind!! I discovered so many new to me products as I was going through these drawers! I also have “need to photograph and review” products in random drawers on the side and random places in my office.
AfterUsing The Workbox 3.0 As A Makeup Organizer
I really love looking at this beauty! Its like a piece of art! I was so shocked that I actually have tons of empty space to hold even more products!!
On the very left side I have all my foundations. Look! There’s even a whole top row empty for more! I love how I can fit all my foundations including CC creams, BB Creams, and all my airbrush stuff too! I even have two empty pouches on the bottom.
The shelves here are mutly full of makeup stuff. This includes, mascara, concealers, eye brow items, glitters, palettes, bronzers, blushes, face products primer, and etc. I also have some shelves with random stuff like mirrors and little bowls. I will organize these things later! In the column with the skinny shelves I have items such as hair ties, bobby pins, eye drops, contact cases, moisturizers I use daily, beauty blenders, eye lash curlers, tweezers, spongues, falsies, and other little random things.
Middle I have all my lipsticks and lip items, eye liner pencils, lip liners, my favorite/ most used palettes at the moment, face mask machine maker, nails stuff, makeup brushes, and other random stuff that I need to organize later! The box thing where my eye and lip liners are was also a freebie during their Black Friday sale! Its meant for markers! 😛
The skinny shelves on the right side are my nail polishes in groups by color. The other shelves have perfumes, body care items, beauty tech, skincare items, face masks, face clothes, sheet masks, hair products, and hair tools.
On the very right side I have velcro pouches with my razors and a lot of foil samples and deluxe sized samples. I sometimes travel for work a lot so I like to pack light and take samples! I also have pouches filled with hair curlers and makeup bags.
I still need to spend a little more time organizing and decorating it to make it prettier! I will also film a video tour that is more in depth once I get everything prettied up!
