Hi everyone! I have been a little out of the blogging loop but still going strong on Instagram (follow me @geniabeme for beauty and @geniabemefood for food)! I was recently invited by my lovely friend Lauren to attend a craft night at AR Workshop in St. Pete, Florida.
About AR Workshop
AR Workshop is different concept. You’ve probably painted somewhere before but now you can create awesome signs and crafts with wood and paint! You go to their website, pick your project, and pay all online. Everything is ready for you to assemble and make pretty when you come in! You can pick between different size and shapes of wood pieces. AR Workshop has tons of really pretty templates that you customize.
AR Workshop will have everything you need from aprons to all the materials and even power tools!
Crafting at AR Workshop
The ladies at AR Workshop explain how to do each step from start to finish and they also walk around to assist with anything and to bring you paints and color choices. Its really like you are being pampered with arts and crafting!! You never have to leave your seat and they are super helpful and so friendly!! They also come around cleaning your space and throwing away trash. Seriously, have you ever been pampered while doing crafts?! So neat!!
AR Workshop Creations (from other bloggers at the event)
I went to a really neat event at @arworkshopstpetersburg a couple nights ago (thanks @laurenperezkitchen for the invite 😘)! ❤ This place lets you create custom wood signs! I decided to make a round sign (that can be turned into a lazy susan) with my IG name so I can use it in my photos! I got to pick out the design when I registered and what words I wanted on it. When I got to #ARWorkshop they had a stencil ready for me to weed (this is when you take out the pieces out of the stencil so you can paint in the open spaces) and a wooden circle for me to sand, stain, and paint! 🎨 You have so many options to stain and distress your wood. It was really fun to paint, eat, drink, and hang out with some friends! Have you ever done something like this before?!
Confession time: remember when I surprised @benbrubaker5 with a @snapfishus book of our wedding photos and I put the wrong wedding date on it 🤦🏽♀️? Welp when submitting the details for this cute wood plank sign, I completely forgot to include the wedding year at the bottom 🙄 #bestwifeaward. @arworkshopstpetersburg saved the day though 🙌🏼 and Ben didn’t know until just now. Oops. 🤷🏽♀️ #datesandnumbersarenotmyfriend #whendidwegetmarried
